Web Editor End-User License

The following license agreement must be accepted to by all parties ( see below paragraph for description ) who wish to use Web Editor, a software product provided by QL Studio.

Parties & Terms:

QL Studio - Provider of Web Editor software, data hosting and technical support.
Client - Those who have a website built using Web Editor.
Developer - Those who manage and build websites using Web Editor.
Users - General term, which refers to both Client and Developer.
Content - Covers all text, images, video, sound or other data uploaded by Users.

Description:

Web Editor is a web-application for remote development and management of websites and website content.

General Conditions:

Agreement: Use of Web Editor via the QL Studio login page by all parties also constitutes agreement with the following terms.

Data Loss: Clients and developers should never reveal their login details to anyone other than recognized QL Studio personnel - any data loss which results is the responsibility of the User.

Data Recovery: Web Editor creates backup copies of data which are stored locally and in remote locations, and in the case of data loss a recovery service is offered, if the loss was the result of User actions, then this is a paid service at a rate agreed at the time.

Content: QL Studio are not responsible for the Content added to websites by Users. Any Content which is illegal, infringes copyright or other legal ownership issues is the responsibility of the individual website Client or Developer.

Payments: All payments should be completed before the due date via bank transfers or on-line using PayPal - PayPal payments made using credit cards or bank transfers will include a 2% surcharge. Bank Transfers will include a 10 Euro handling fee. Failure to complete payment in due time may result in temporary blockage of website and email hosting, placement of paid advertising on Client websites or permanent website deletion.

License Fee: All Users are required to pay the standard license fee for use of Web Editor - this is a one-off payment which provides life-long upgrades of Web Editor, for as long as the User continues to use Web Editor and pays their annual fees ( such as hosting ).

Transfers: Websites and website content build and hosted on QL Studio servers, via Web Editor or any other web service provided by QL Studio are not transferable to other servers or systems.

Code: QL Studio is and remains the sole owner of all code, scripts and web-applications used and distributed for Web Editor and all other QL Studio software, to and for clients or developers, unless explicitly stated or where code is from open-source or GNU origin.

Updates: These terms will be updated periodically, all changes will be posted here.
