Skype - Take a deep breath

We use Skype to chat between offices, with clients and friends because it offers free calls computer to computer using a system known as VOIP - basically using your internet connection to make a phone call.

Now the best thing is it makes no difference where the two computers are - I'm in Portugal and you're in Australia, no problem, it's still FREE.

Ok, so what if I want to call someone who doesn't have a computer, no problem you can do that too - and using Skype Pro - you pay €2 a month and get free calls to all fixed phones in the same country.

You can also send SMS ( text messages) , make conference calls and have a video conversation with your mum. Not bad considering it costs nothing.
