Add .mp3 Music to your Website
This simple plug-in allows you to either select a track which you have already uploaded to the Web Editor server (you should put the file in your public folder, so that it shows up in the list), or you can also enter the URL of an .mp3 file that is hosted on any other server.
To find the Audio Embedder, you'll need open a page for editing, now look in the tool bar for a small icon that looks like a musical note ( see image below ), if you do not see this image, you'll need to clear your browsers cache, this is a little bit geeky and achieved in different ways depending on which browser you use.
Limitations, Credits & Developments
This plug-in is in Beta, which means that it's pretty new and might change a little as we get feedback and better ideas.
The most obvious limitations are on file types, as it only works with .mp3 and the fact that it's not that easy to upload large file to Web Editor ( remember, if you manage to upload a file you need to be sure to put it in your public folder ).
Full Credit for the Flash part of this plug-in goes to the oddly named TagTooga, the plug-in for FCK was developed in-house by QL Studio for Web Editor.
Web Editor has a second server in the US, which offers a huge amount of space, and if this plug-in proves popular we plan to develop a way to allow users to upload files via FTP there.

The whole .mp3 issue is massive, and we don't want either yourselves or ourselves to get into trouble, so please respect the creative and legal rights of others, this means do not upload copyrighted material to Web Editor, and if it is not allowed, please do not link to music hosted elsewhere.
